Reviews and Ratings
My stay at this onsen was truly memorable. The accommodation was elegant and blended traditional Japanese design with modern comforts perfectly. The dinner was exceptional, and the atmosphere was peaceful. However, I found the baths to be a bit small, which could be a downside if you're looking for extensive facilities. Overall, I got great value for money with the experience.
This ryokan experience was truly outstanding, especially with the delightful private dining arrangements and the incredible hospitality from the staff. The rooms were comfortable, and the service was attentive, though the reception staff could use some improvement in their welcoming demeanor. Overall, we really enjoyed the traditional Japanese experience, and we felt it was worth every penny.
Our stay in this beautiful ryokan was absolutely delightful, offering an enchanting glimpse into traditional life in a charming village. The rooms were cozy and impeccably clean, while the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The dining experience was a highlight, with exquisite dishes served in a private setting. However, the overall atmosphere can feel a bit too quiet for those seeking more vibrancy. Regardless, the value for the experience was truly remarkable.
Staying at this ryokan was an incredible experience! The service was exceptional, and the food was a highlight, especially during our private kaiseki dinner. The location is perfect for exploring the charming town and nearby snow monkey park. The only downside was the size of the onsen baths, which could be a bit cramped at times, but overall, the experience was worth every yen.
Staying at Sakaeya in Shibu Onsen was an unforgettable experience. The hospitality we received was unparalleled, making us feel at home despite the language barrier. The dining options were fantastic, with private rooms for family meals. However, I wished there were more varied menu options. The onsen facilities were great for relaxation, but the public ones after a long day could get crowded. Overall, a remarkable stay with excellent value for money.
